The walls have been insulated, heat and air and electrical are done… and sheetrock starts tomorrow!

Kennedy and her friend Rylee had the chance to ride their bikes in Luther’s Alumni parade Saturday.  She said they had a great time.  Obviously, their role was easier than this poor gal’s:

We weren’t expecting it until Monday, but I guess the weather cooperated for a change.  We closed on the sale of the current house yesterday, so it looks like we’ll become basement dwellers at the Davis residence mid-July.

The well’s been drilled and foundation footings poured.  Today we saw them set the forms for the stem walls, though I think the rain beat the concrete truck to the jobsite.  We’ve decided on exterior colors…tomorrow we’re shopping for countertops and concrete stain colors.
