Who says TV ain’t educational?

I was watching American Chopper a while back, and Mikey had gotten a new digital still camera and the boys in the shop were using it to make a movie. I thought, “Hey, that’s a cool idea!” My Nikon shoots about 3 frames per second, so today I used it to shoot a little movie of the girls playing dodgeball. It’s 185 individual still pictures edited together into a movie, so it doesn’t last long, but I think its cute!

That is a fun project! We did this with my class last week using my Nikon D50 and GIMP. Afterward, we drew on the frames with GIMP and made them into animated GIFs. They have a very crude Who Framed Roger Rabbit feel to them. I’ll have to dig some of the good ones up on Monday since they’re all on my work computer.
