Walt and I are such babies; neither one of us slept well last night and it was all because K. had her very first ever sleepover at a friend’s house.  I know they’ll take good care of her, and we are friends with the parents; however, it felt a little like dropping her off at daycare for the first time.  Kennedy didn’t even go over there until about 7:30 because of the family’s schedule, and we stayed and visited with the dad until almost 10:00, while the kids played Guitar Hero upstairs.  We’re picking her up today on the way to church; as tired as she looked when we left, I bet she’s pretty worthless today.

2:00-We were supposed to pick up K. at 10:00, but by 9:40, Walt was waiting by the door.  Despite staying up until midnight, Kennedy was up at 6:00 this morning.  They had ice cream, watched the winter Olympics, and even slept in a tent for awhile-inside of course-it snowed again this morning.  She said she’ll go back again, so I guess her first overnight was a success.  As for us?  We’re tired and going to take a nap!
